LOOK NO FURTHER! You've found the best guide in Cambodia. (This is from a well seasoned traveler who normally doesn't take the guided path for fear of missing the real culture.)
Finn showed us such a great time. He tailored our few days in Siem Reap to our needs & wants. He made everything happen seamlessly. Finn stands out from his peers because he doesn't make you feel you're on a guided tour. He takes pride in showing his guests the depth of his culture. Finn bucks the system and doesn't trot you around in his uniform. He's really just like a local pal that is showing you the inside track. Everyone seems to know Finn at Angkor and a cheeky grin always comes to their face when they pass him throughout the temples. His English is beyond excellent. His knowledge of the Khmer history and ability to share it in a meaningful, entertaining way, was such a pleasure.
We not only got to SEE the temples from the best angles (without the hordes of tourists), but we also LEARNED what drove the history & culture of the Khmer. We were able to get great sense of the current Khmer cultural norms through thought-provoking discussions with Finn. He never tired of our endless inquiries into how the Khmer traditions compared to those of more westerner cultures. We walked away with new knowledge of a great empire, an appreciation of the beauty of a true wonder of the world, an understanding of a proud people, and least of all, an amazing set of photos.

I and a group of 4 other friends had a wonderful experience in Siem Reap with Fin as our guide in January of 2011. He was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about not only the temples of Angkor Wat but also Cambodia's history in general. Fin's english is superb and he was able to provide us with a fantastic, memorable experience. I only wish I'd had more time to see and learn more. Thanks Fin!
